With greatest care, much love and pleasure I created this baby into a sweet, detailed baby.   

Please enjoy the following pictures of my newest baby. For giving you the best results in seeing the realistic coloration, all the photos are taken at different times in natural daylight. All pictures have not been edited!

Important Information

 

All my babies come from a smoke free home. Please keep in mind that this doll is not a toy. Its a piece of art and not suitable for little children.

Please handle the doll with care.

Also very important: The doll has a strong magnet in the babies head and  pacifier.

So please keep them away from pacemakers.

 

 

 

Coloring

It took me many hours to give this baby this very realistic newborn skin tone, using the 3D real skin method.

By using this technique I am able to create a very realistic effect.

I developed my own specific way of coloring and nobody does the same.

The lifelike skin is hand painted in many different layers.  This baby has got also delicate veining and capillaries.


Please notice!!! The skin is very rosy and translucent - a typical look for a baby and different to the skin of kids or adults.

The nails have been tipped in a natural off white and varnished.

 The lips are colored in natural shades and sealed as well with satin varnish.

The colors are permanent, non-toxic and do not fade. For the final sealing of the skin i used Genesis Matte Varnish. 

So it feels a bit rough with a skin structure and it looks matte.

The painting on the hands and feets are more rosy.

 

 

Hair, Eyebrows, Lashes

 

The hair is mono and micro rooted with high quality alpaca hair in a brown color.

This process takes a lot of time but the effort is absolutely worth it! 

The result is very realistic and baby like.

To make this doll look like a baby, the eyelashes have been rooted as fine like as the ones from real babies, you might believe they are real.

The hair at the forehead and the temples is partially painted in a brown shade of color.

The eyebrows are so very fine and detailed - you will believe they are real.

 

 

 

Weighting and filling

 

I have weighted the body with fibrefill, a small bag of steel granulate and very realistic "baby fat" soft pellets. Arms and legs are filled with glass beads and fibrefill.

The head is also weighted with a little bag of steel granulate and fibrefill, 

so you have to support his little head like you do with a real baby. 

The weight is real balanced, the baby will lay in your arms like a real baby. If you hold this little wonder you will never let it go!

Care Instructions

To help ensure that you keep the joy with your reborn baby, here are some care instructions for hair and skin:


It is important to take great care of the babies hair.
As you can feel the alpaca hair is very tiny, thin and could possibly break in case of incorrect treatment.
Therefore you shouldn't put on caps, hats and bonnets because the hair becomes
matted due to the rubbing.


Make sure to avoid unnecessary friction in scrubbing baby’s hair.
You should put clingfilm under the head of the baby when you lay it down.
From time to time the hair can be combed with a soft Eyelash brush which is included in the package.
Also changing clothes too much could damage the hair and can make the skin/sealing shiny.

Please never press on the babies skin, no matter if face or limbs, because the sealing can
break.

Don't apply pressure on the eyes, since it can damage the glass eyes.
You can clean the eyes and skin from dust with a fine brush.

Please remember this is not a toy doll, it's only for collectors so please don't play with
it, because it can damage the hair or skin.

I cannot be accountable for any damage due to wrong usage or breakage.

• Never let your reborn take a bath

• They have got very strong earth magnets installed, so please keep away from pacemakers!

Rooting Hair

The baby's hair is rooted with high quality Delta Dawn kids mohair, Slumberland kids mohair and
sometimes yearling mohair.
It is a very long process since the hair is rooted piece by piece to accomplish are very authentic appearance.

Layer by Layer

Paiting using 3d Skin technique

To achieve a very delicate and realistic newbown skintone I am painting with my modified and unique 3D Skin Technique. Layer by layer paint is added to get the rosy, translucent newborn like look. The skin looks matte and feels smooth thanks to Genesis matte varnish. The colors will not fade over time.

The Fine Arts

It's about the small details

The front hairline is painted in many layers and create a transition to the very fine facial hair which is painted all over the face.
The eyebrows are formed by many fine brushstrokes and tiny white dots on the nose symbolize milia which many newborn have in the first few months.

For the Looks

With eyes like diamonds

When it comes about the look of a reborn baby with open eyes, nothing is more convincing than custom made high quality Lauscha glass eyes made in Germany.

The eyelashes are rooted with the Delta Dawn or Slumberland mohair.

For the Feel

Filled with fiberfill, steel granulat softgranulat and glass beads the body weight of each baby is realistically balanced.

The head is also weighted so you have to hold the it like a real baby's head to not let it drop.
