For prototype dolls, specific customization requests such as hair color or hairstyle cannot be accommodated. Each prototype is created as a unique artistic interpretation, and the artist must work freely to achieve the most natural lifelike result.
You are very welcome to contact me before reserving if you wish to know how i plan to interpret this particular sculpt - for example, which hair color or style i am considering for the prototype.
Please notice: a belly plate is not included. For photo purposes, i use pre-colored plates that match the babies size.
If you would like your own matching belly plate to your prototype reservation, you are welcome to order one. In that case, it will be specially created and painted to match your baby.

Painted with Genesis in Alexa Calvo style with Genesis Heat Set paints.
High quality Lauscha glass eyes from Germany or resin eyes
The body is filled with fiberfill, steel granules and very realistic "baby fat" (silicone) soft granules.
The arms and legs are filled with glass beads and fiberfill.
The head is also weighted with steel granules and fibrefil, so you have to hold the head like a real babies head

To preserve the quality and artistic integrity of your one-of-a-kind piece, please follow the care instructions below carefully:
Hair
The hair is made of fine natural mohair or alpaca and is individually micro-rooted by hand.
• Do not brush or comb vigorously.
• Do not use hats or tight headwear, as this can cause hair breakage.
• Avoid friction – when lying down, please place a soft protective cloth or film under the head.
• Style gently using a very soft toothbrush or eyelash brush only.
Vinyl Parts
The limbs and head are made of high-quality, soft vinyl.
• Do not press or squeeze these parts.
• Glass eyes, if present, must not be pushed or rubbed – clean them only with a soft dusting brush.
Light & Environment
• Keep out of direct sunlight, as UV exposure can cause fading of skin tones and hair.
• Avoid repetitive rubbing on painted areas, as this may result in shiny patches over time.
Water & Moisture
• The doll must not be bathed or exposed to water.
• This is a handcrafted piece of art, not a toy.
Handling & Storage
• This artist doll is not intended for play.
• It is a collectible artwork and should be handled with care and stored in a clean, dust-free environment.
Temperature & Storage
• Do not expose to high temperatures – heat can cause the vinyl to warp.

The reborn process is done very precisely and only under usage of high quality materials. Since every baby is uniquely hand painted it can never exist twice!

Rooting Hair
The baby's hair is rooted with high quality and very fine kids mohair or high quality alpaca hair.
It is a very long process since the hair is rooted piece by piece to accomplish are very authentic appearance.
Layer by Layer
Paiting using 3d Skin technique
To achieve a very delicate and realistic newbown skintone I am painting with my modified and unique 3D Skin Technique. Layer by layer paint is added to get the rosy, translucent newborn like look. The skin looks matte and feels smooth thanks to Genesis matte varnish. The colors will not fade over time.
The Fine Arts
It's about the small details
The front hairline is painted in many layers and create a transition to the very fine facial hair which is painted all over the face.
The eyebrows are formed by many fine brushstrokes and tiny white dots on the nose symbolize milia which many newborn have in the first few months.
For the Looks
With eyes like diamonds
When it comes about the look of a reborn baby with open eyes, nothing is more convincing than custom made high quality Lauscha glass eyes made in Germany.
Sometimes i also use very realistic an high quality resin eyes.
The eyelashes are rooted with the Delta Dawn or Slumberland mohair.
For the Feel

Filled with fiberfill, steel granulat softgranulat and glass beads the body weight of each baby is realistically balanced.
The head is also weighted so you have to hold the it like a real baby's head to not let it drop.
