About the Photos
With great care, love, and joy, I created this art doll with an exceptionally sweet and detailed newborn appearance.
I hope you enjoy the following photographs of my newest creation.
To show the realistic coloring as accurately as possible, all photographs were taken at different times in natural daylight.
The art doll has not been digitally edited or retouched in any of the photographs.

Skin Coloring
It took many hours of careful work to create this exceptionally realistic newborn skin tone. I used my own 3D Real Skin technique, which allows me to achieve a highly lifelike skin effect.
Over the years, I have developed my own individual approach to skin coloring, giving each of my art dolls a distinctive and personal appearance.
The lifelike skin has been hand-painted in numerous delicate layers. Fine veins and capillaries have also been added to enhance the realistic appearance of the skin.
Please note: The skin has intentionally been created with a very rosy and translucent appearance, characteristic of a newborn. This delicate coloring is naturally different from the skin tones of older children and adults.
The nails have been delicately finished in a natural off-white shade and sealed for protection.
The lips have been painted in soft, natural tones and finished with a satin varnish.
The colors are permanent, non-toxic, and designed not to fade. For the final sealing of the skin, I used Matte Varnish.
This gives the skin a subtle texture and a beautiful semi-matte, natural finish.

Hair, Eyebrows & Eyelashes
The hair has been mono- and micro-rooted with high-quality alpaca hair in a beautiful, very beautiful red brown shade.
This is an extremely time-consuming process, but the result is absolutely worth the effort. The delicately rooted hair gives the art doll an exceptionally natural and lifelike appearance.
The eyelashes have been rooted extremely finely and delicately, inspired by the fine lashes of a real newborn.
The eyebrows are exceptionally fine and detailed, complementing the overall realistic appearance beautifully.
The delicate lanugo hair around the forehead, temples, and throughout the face has been carefully painted in a soft blonde shade.

Weighting & Filling
The cloth body has been carefully weighted using fibrefill, a small pouch of steel granulate, and soft, realistic “baby-fat” pellets.
The arms and legs are filled with glass beads and fibrefill.
The head has also been weighted with a small pouch of steel granulate and fibrefill. Because of this realistic weighting, the head should always be properly supported when holding the art doll, just as you would support the head of a real newborn.
The weight has been carefully balanced so that the art doll rests naturally in your arms and provides an especially realistic holding experience.

Important safety notice: There are strong magnets inside the doll’s head and in the accompanying pacifier. Please keep the doll and pacifier away from pacemakers and other medical implants that may be affected by magnets.

Hair
The hair is made of fine natural mohair or alpaca and is individually micro-rooted by hand.
• Do not brush or comb vigorously.
• Do not use hats or tight headwear, as this can cause hair breakage.
• Avoid friction – when lying down, please place a soft protective cloth or film under the head.
• Style gently using a very soft toothbrush or eyelash brush only.
Vinyl Parts
The limbs and head are made of high-quality, soft vinyl.
• Do not press or squeeze these parts.
• Glass eyes, if present, must not be pushed or rubbed – clean them only with a soft dusting brush.
Light & Environment
• Keep out of direct sunlight, as UV exposure can cause fading of skin tones and hair.
• Avoid repetitive rubbing on painted areas, as this may result in shiny patches over time.
Water & Moisture
• The doll must not be bathed or exposed to water.
• This is a handcrafted piece of art, not a toy.

The reborn process is done very precisely and only under usage of high quality materials. Since every baby is uniquely hand painted it can never exist twice!
Piece by Piece
Rooting Hair
The baby's hair is rooted with high quality Delta Dawn kids mohair, Slumberland kids mohair and
sometimes yearling mohair.
It is a very long process since the hair is rooted piece by piece to accomplish are very authentic appearance.
Layer by Layer
Paiting using 3d Skin technique
To achieve a very delicate and realistic newbown skintone I am painting with my modified and unique 3D Skin Technique. Layer by layer paint is added to get the rosy, translucent newborn like look. The skin looks matte and feels smooth thanks to Genesis matte varnish. The colors will not fade over time.
The Fine Arts
It's about the small details
The front hairline is painted in many layers and create a transition to the very fine facial hair which is painted all over the face.
The eyebrows are formed by many fine brushstrokes and tiny white dots on the nose symbolize milia which many newborn have in the first few months.
For the Looks

When it comes about the look of a reborn baby with open eyes, nothing is more convincing than custom made high quality Lauscha glass eyes made in Germany.
The eyelashes are rooted with the Delta Dawn or Slumberland mohair.

Filled with fiberfill, steel granulat softgranulat and glass beads the body weight of each baby is realistically balanced.
The head is also weighted so you have to hold the it like a real baby's head to not let it drop.
